Corporate Accountant: Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure integrity of financial records.
- Plan and execute month end close activities to meet reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and prepayments with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including intercompany accounts and suspense items.
- Prepare management accounts and variance analysis for finance business partners and senior management.
- Support preparation of statutory financial statements and tax submissions in line with applicable reporting frameworks.
