What is the Community Builder badge

A credential that recognises your contribution

NextInHR is built on the credibility of its members. Every HR professional who brings a verified colleague into the community strengthens the network for everyone — and the Community Builder badge is how we recognise that contribution permanently.

It is not a gamification reward. It is a professional credential that sits alongside your verified HR identity on NextInHR, visible to every organisation, agency, and peer who views your HR Verified Profile.

Binary credential — you either have it or you're working toward it. No counters, no points.

How to earn it

Four steps to your Community Builder badge

Earning the badge is straightforward. It requires genuine professional action — inviting real HR colleagues who build a real verified profile on the platform.

1
Invite your HR colleagues
Send a personal invite to up to 5 colleagues at a time, or share your personal referral link via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or email. No contacts are accessed on your behalf — every invite is yours to send.
2
They join NextInHR
Your colleague signs up using your invite or referral link. You'll receive a notification when they join — and the attribution is recorded to your account automatically.
3
They complete their HR Verified Profile
The referral is confirmed when your colleague completes their HR Verified Profile — not just on signup. This ensures every referral represents a genuine, active HR professional.
4
Reach 5 and earn your badge
Once 5 colleagues have completed their HR Verified Profile through your invitation, the Community Builder badge is permanently added to your HR Verified Profile and HR Verified Card.
Important: The badge unlocks when 5 colleagues complete their HR Verified Profile — signup alone does not count. You can track your progress from the Invite Colleagues page in your dashboard at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Do I need a completed HR Verified Profile to start inviting colleagues?
Yes. You need a completed HR Verified Profile to access the invite feature. This ensures every invitation comes from a verified HR professional — which makes the invitation more credible for your colleagues too.
Does my colleague need to do anything after signing up?
Yes — your colleague needs to complete their HR Verified Profile, not just sign up. Signup alone does not count toward your badge progress. The referral is confirmed only when their profile is fully complete. This ensures every referral represents a genuine, active member of the community, which is what gives the badge its value.
How long does my colleague have to complete their profile after signing up?
Your colleague has 30 days from signup to complete their HR Verified Profile. If they don't complete it within that window, the referral expires — but you can always re-invite them. We'll send your colleague a reminder at the 7-day mark if their profile is still incomplete.
How many colleagues do I need to invite to earn the badge?
You need 5 colleagues to complete their HR Verified Profile through your invitation. You can track your progress from the Invite Colleagues page in your dashboard at any time. Each confirmed referral contributes to both your badge progress and your Professional Standing.
Can I invite anyone, or only HR professionals?
NextInHR is a platform built exclusively for the global HR community. We recommend inviting colleagues who work in HR — practitioners, consultants, agency professionals, and HR leaders. Your invitation will be most relevant and appreciated by genuine HR colleagues, and they'll get the most value from the platform.
Is there a daily limit on invitations?
You can send up to 20 direct email invites per day through the platform. There is no limit on sharing your personal referral link — you can post it on LinkedIn, send it via WhatsApp, include it in your email signature, or share it anywhere you choose. The daily limit applies only to direct in-platform invites.
Does the badge expire or get removed if I become inactive on the platform?
No. The Community Builder badge is a permanent credential. Once earned, it is displayed on your HR Verified Profile and HR Verified Card indefinitely. Platform activity levels do not affect whether you keep the badge — it is yours permanently.
How does the Community Builder badge connect to Professional Standing?
Each colleague you invite who completes their HR Verified Profile contributes to your Professional Standing — NextInHR's six-tier recognition system. The contribution feeds into the platform's recognition engine automatically. You'll see your standing advance on your dashboard as each referral is confirmed. Learn more about Professional Standing →
Will NextInHR really share my posts on their social media channels?
Yes. Once you've earned the Community Builder badge, NextInHR will publish and amplify your HR-related posts across our social media channels — including LinkedIn — and tag you directly. This is a live benefit available to all Community Builders. We ask that the content shared is relevant to the HR profession.
Is the Community Builder badge the same as Referral Jobs?
No — they are completely separate. Referral Jobs is NextInHR's module where Referring Partners earn Referral Commission by referring candidates for non-HR roles. The Community Builder badge is a platform growth programme — inviting HR colleagues to join NextInHR as members. The two operate independently with separate systems, terminology, and reward structures.
