The Treasury Manager will lead treasury operations including cash management, cash forecasting and bank account administration. Treasury Manager: Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily cash position and manage short-term cash requirements across accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts and rolling liquidity projections.
  • Manage banking relationships, negotiate account terms and monitor bank fees.
  • Execute and oversee payment processing and authorisation controls.
  • Manage short-term funding and investment activities in accordance with treasury policy.
  • Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures and control documentation.
  • Monitor and report on covenant compliance and counterparty exposure.
  • Support treasury accounting, month-end reconciliations and financial statement disclosures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost and operational risk.
  • Oversee intercompany funding arrangements and manage cash pooling where applicable.
  • Coordinate with banks and legal advisors on facility agreements and security documentation.
  • Provide treasury risk analysis, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposure reporting.
  • Lead and develop treasury staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and maintain supporting evidence for controls.

Treasury Manager: Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting or finance qualification preferred (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Typically 5 or more years' experience in treasury, corporate finance or cash management roles.
  • Proven experience managing cash forecasting, liquidity and working capital processes.
  • Strong understanding of treasury controls, bank account structures and payment processes.
